      Yep, it is possible.

      Since you said “MacBook” I’m going to assume you don’t have a Pro model or desktop system, so for starters, you’ll need a mini-DVI to DVI converter. Apple sells these for $20.

      Then, you have a choice. One way to go from there is to buy a DVI to HDMI cable. I bought mine for $30 at the local store, but I’m sure you can find it online for less. However, if you already have an HDMI cable lying around or want to buy one for multiple uses, buy a DVI to HDMI converter, to which you’ll plug an HDMI cable. The adapter will set you back at least $10, and then you have to buy an HDMI cable, which will run anywhere from $20 to a couple hundred.

      A lot of people will tell you that in the world of cables and adapters, you pay for the quality you get. I agree to a point. For my Blu-Ray, I’ve found that there is a difference, but when I plug in my computer, cable quality isn’t important.
