If it’s a plazma TV, it might not be safe. If it’s LCD, it’s definitely safe. All burn-ins on LCD TV’s are temporary.

Depending on if it is a Plasma televison. If it is a LCD then it is 100% safe but Plasmas have had a horrible time with Game Systems. LCD’s and Games go together like Sugar and Coffee but Plasma’s and Games go together like Salt and Coffee. -_-”
Check your Resolution filter and make it refresh more often I have a
phillips plasma and a wii and have never burned the Image on the screen hope this helped.

you will NEVER burn anything in an lcd, even if you pause a movie. plus on most game systems/cable boxes/satellite/dvd players have screen savers anyway. but that protects plasmas. lcd is ideal for gamers. plasma is ideal for blu ray fans.
the chronic burn in problem w/ plasmas are a thing of the past, the slight chance of burn in is about equal w/ both lcd and plasma. What causes burn in is a picture that stays still for too long. So while playing games just remember to shut it off if you need to pause the game for a long and don’t fall asleep while playing. Most TVs now have an inactivity shut off feature to protect itself from damage
