My Sony tv model no. KV-32FS120 will not turn on with remote or power switch. If I hit power button on tv 6 or 7 times it usually will turn on. Tv is only 3 years old, has anyone run into this problem before?

I did but with my Samsung TV after it was about a week old. It turned out to be the power supply and needed to be replaced. Given it’s age, I simply exchanged it at the store.
Your TV is 3 years old and unless you have an extended warranty on it, you’ll likely have to spend money to get the power supply replaced.
These supplies can be pricey and may even motivate you to buy a new TV. Call a SONY service center and have them send a rep out. Or start shopping for a new TV.

Is it completely dead? Could be the mains (power) switch on the tv.but if the power light flashes,count the number of times it does and give the local service centre the info, they then will give you all rough estimate over the phone,once you get the set working switch off from the wall,wait and switch back on,if the standby light shows that will eliminate the mains switch and hopefully will turn on with the remote, if not It could be a many problems from a simple dry joint in the line or frame scanning circuits to dried out capacitors in tha internal power supply
