I push power button on remote,on tv ,it flicks on off,on,off,on,off then comes on after a few times.

My 37 inch RCA was doing that and I fixed it by….on the tv set push the menu button and the button beside it at the same time ‘on my tv it was the 2 volume buttons i pushed’ ok , a menu will appear showing color, brightness, sharpness, DNR, etc…press the DNR button to turn it on.
