Simply adjust the EQ on your TV for start, and 2nd, our TV did the same. If you are using composite Cables on you HDTV, you aren’t even really getting HDTV. See if your tv is HDMI compatible (same with your box). If it is, get an HDMI cable from Walmart for like 30$. They are best quality; plus one cable carries sound and picture which is much more consolidated.

If your TV is not HDMI compatible, see if it is Optical Cable compatible. Below HDMI, optical sound cable (optical cables carry sound ONLY) is best quality; not as good as HDMI but better than the cables you are using by like 100x.
